Aggeliki Demertzi

Aggeliki A. Demertzi holds a PhD in Economic Geography from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She also holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from NTUA and a Master's degree in Economics of Production and Intersectoral Relationships from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Her Bachelor's degree is in Public Administration, with a focus on Public Economics, also from Panteion University.

Professionally, she has worked on a wide range of projects related to spatial planning, regional development, and public policy. Her work combines academic research with practical experience in designing and managing development strategies, with particular emphasis on economic and spatial transformations, governance structures, and intersectoral linkages. Additionally, she specializes in monitoring and evaluation of projects and holds relevant MEAL certifications.

Her main interests lie in the political economy of urban and regional change, the dynamics of productive systems, and the governance of territorial development.

Eirini Iliopoulou is an Architect-Engineer and Urban Planner, holding a PhD from the Department of Architecture at TU-Berlin (summa cum laude) and a diploma from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research and professional interests focus on civic participation, integrated territorial development, community engagement, socio-spatial conflicts, and the cultural and creative industries. She has extensive experience in the design, implementation, management, and evaluation of EU-funded (EUI-IA, UIA, Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, Interreg, Erasmus+, Creative Europe) and national research and development projects in the fields of urban development and culture.

Nadia Siokou

With a passion for driving positive change in urban development, Nadia Siokou is a professional with a diverse background in project management, cultural initiatives, and sustainable tourism. With over six years of experience coordinating EU-funded projects and managing non-profit organizations, she possesses in-depth expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and innovative problem-solving. Her specialization focuses on fostering collaboration between diverse stakeholders and implementing creative solutions to complex urban challenges. Skilled in needs mapping, participatory design, and effective communication, she is committed to creating urban spaces that are inclusive, resilient, and vibrant.
